The 2017 Hyundai Ioniq is one of the most advanced vehicles to take to the road. Available now as a hybrid, with a plug-in hybrid and all electric model set to debut later this year, it is the first dedicated vehicle to offer these three powertrain choices. Using Hyundai's Blue Drive® technology, the Ioniq offers lower pollution along with higher performance. Standard features like a power sunroof, heated front seats, and a 7" touchscreen audio system make the Ioniq as people-friendly as it is eco-friendly.
The 2017 Hyundai Ioniq Hybrid is powered by a 104 horsepower gasoline engine, and gains additional power from a small electric motor and a small battery pack to help increase gas mileage. The forthcoming Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid increases the size of the electric motor and battery to allow it to drive 25 miles only using electric power. The Ioniq Electric will replace the gasoline engine with a high-output 120 horsepower electric motor and an even larger battery to give it an all-electric range of 124 miles.
